Take a day to get out of the office and into the community! Habitat Team Builders is designed especially for corporate groups to come together for a day of team building and house building with Willamette West Habitat for Humanity.
This combination of volunteer hours and a financial donation doubles your group's impact toward our mission of providing affordable home ownership.

What days are available to volunteer?
We reserve Thursdays from 8:30am to 4:00pm for Habitat Team Builder volunteers.
Can we just work a half-day?
For maximum efficiency and productivity, we require that all Habitat Team Builder groups work a full day. You’ll be amazed at how fast the day will fly by! However, you can have a morning shift and an afternoon shift.
Describe a typical “Habitat Team Builders” day.
Every day is different — your team could be framing, painting, siding, insulating or installing windows! Your group is welcome to take breaks during the day, and everyone breaks for lunch around noontime.
How much does it cost?
To participate in Habitat Team Builders, there is a $100 per volunteer minimum tax-deductible contribution to Willamette West Habitat for Humanity. This donation means that your group will fund the skilled supervision, tools, and building materials for the day.
How do we sign up?
It’s easy! Contact our Volunteer Coordinator annawendt [at] habitatwest [dot] org (Anna Wendt) and schedule the day for your team to come out.
